I kinda cheated with starting Pokemon Red by having Growlithe traded in as Arcanine is a favorite of mine. Something about him commands respect, but doesn't go so far as Mewtwo or the other legendary pokemon. And, there's definitely enough of him to go around. I'm pretty tired, so ahh nothing speaks dynamic fishing more than having cranky voltorbs hiding underneath you, right?
